ExecutiveAction Announces Senior Advisory Board Members

Washington – ExecutiveAction today announced the additional of three members to its Senior Advisory Board, including Sir Richard Needham, Celia Sandys, and Rear Admiral James Stark (ret.).
“We are indeed fortunate to announce three outstanding new members to our Senior Advisory Board,” said Neil Livingstone, CEO of ExecutiveAction. “They are exceptionally talented, with unique experience and insight.”
The Senior Advisory Board is chaired by R. James Woolsey, former Director of the CIA and the Vice Chairman is Judge William Sessions, former Director of the FBI. Maria Cattaui, former Secretary of the International Chamber of Commerce and Managing Director of the World Economic Forum (Davos), is also a member of the board.
The Advisory Board provides unique perspectives and insights to the management of ExecutiveAction and, on occasion, to clients.
Sir Richard Needham
Sir Richard Needham was appointed UK’s Minister of Trade in 1992, after serving as a Member of Parliament and Minister of Northern Ireland. He currently is Chairman of Avon Rubber Plc as well as a director of several small private companies.
Needham previously was Director of GEC plc and Chairman of GPT Ltd. He was named Vice Chairman of NEC Europe Ltd. in 1997 and was Deputy Chairman of Dyson Ltd. from 1999-2004.
He also was Chairman of The London Heart Hospital and Chairman of Biocompatibles Plc. He is a founding member of the Anglo-Japanese 21st Century Group, and was appointed the Order of The Rising Sun and Silver Star by the Japanese Government. Needham has authored two books, “Honourable Member” and “Battling for Peace.”
Celia Sandys
Celia Sandys, granddaughter of Winston Churchill, is an author, journalist, television personality, and speaker. She has published five books related to Churchill and is Chairman of Churchill Leadership Inc., an organization she founded that offers leadership training to private and public sector executives.
Sandys has delivered speeches to audiences around the world and is a frequent guest on television talk shows, including those hosted by Chris Matthews and Charlie Rose.
James Stark
Rear Admiral James Stark (ret.), currently with The Spectrum Group, commanded the NATO Standing Naval Force Atlantic and served as Commander of the Pacific Fleet Training Command. He was a member of the Navy Staff and National Security Council. Stark completed his 33-year career in the Navy as President of the Naval War College in Newport, Rhode Island.
He earned a BS (with distinction) from the U.S. Naval Academy. Stark attended the University of Vienna as a Fullbright Scholar and holds two Masters Degrees and a Ph.D. from the Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy, Tufts University.
