Washington – ExecutiveAction today named Maria Cattaui, former Secretary of the International Chamber of Commerce and Managing Director of the World Economic Forum (Davos), to its Senior Advisory Board.

Maria Cattaui
Maria Cattaui was named Secretary General of the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC) in 1996 and served in this capacity until 2005. She previously was a member of the Executive Board and then Managing Director of the World Economic Forum in Geneva from 1977 to 1996.
Cattaui is Vice Chairman of the International Crisis Group and serves on numerous boards, including the EastWest Institute (New York), National Bureau of Asian Research (NBR), and Petroplus Holdings AG.
Cattaui began her career as a writer and editor of books, speeches, and articles. She wrote and edited articles for Encyclopedia Britannica and Time-Life Books. Cattaui is an honors graduate of Harvard University and has an honorary Doctor of Laws degree from York University, Toronto.
