For Immediate Release
October 18, 2007
Washington – Members of ExecutiveAction today expressed their deep sorrow upon learning of the death of Admiral William J. Crowe, Jr. and offered their prayers to his wife Shirley and his family.
| We are deeply saddened to learn of the death of our dear friend and colleague, Admiral William J. Crowe Jr. We had the great privilege and honor to work with him as Chairman Emeritus of our Advisory Board. He will be dearly missed. We send our condolences to his wife Shirley and his family. |
Neil Livingstone, CEO of ExecutiveAction, paid a personal tribute to Admiral Crowe, offering these thoughts:
| He was one of the finest men I ever knew and I regularly sought his advice, which he gave freely and often with a humorous story that served as an illustration of the point he wanted to make. I enjoyed sitting in his office and exchanging ideas or discussing history, especially some new book that he had just read. His take on historical issues was always original and he had a voracious appetite for American history. His loss is personally devastating and not a day will go by that I won’t miss him and his wonderful outlook on all things. |
Prior to joining ExecutiveAction, Admiral Crowe was Chairman of the Advisory Board for GlobalOptions, a company Livingstone founded in 1999.
