Sun Kim
Mr. Sun W. Kim is Executive Vice President for East Asia and Pacific at ExecutiveAction. He advises a select group of clients from the region regarding their business and political requirements, and provides unique insight to U.S. firms seeking new markets and addressing problems throughout East Asia and the Pacific. Among his clients are defense, electronics, aviation, and financial firms.
Born in the Republic of Korea, Mr. Kim immigrated to the United States and attended high school in Chicago, Illinois. He subsequently graduated from Knox College, with majors in Economics and Mathematics. He was commissioned a Marine officer 1992, and held various command and staff positions during his career. While on active duty he participated in numerous training and operational deployments in Asia, Africa, and the Pacific.
Mr. Kim is an alumni of the Asian Pacific Center for Security Studies and the Institute of European Studies in Vienna, and serves as a Lieutenant Colonel in the Marine Corps Reserve.
Mr. Kim is married with two children.
