William (Bill) Suffa
William (Bill) Suffa is President & Chief Operating Officer for ExecutiveAction, LLC. He is responsible for executing EA’s growth strategy, including all merger and acquisition transactions.
Suffa’s role with ExecutiveAction follows a successful career encompassing corporate development, strategy, and operations for mid-sized and large growth companies.
He served as Senior Vice President, Capital Management with Clear Channel Communications, a global Fortune-500 media, advertising, and entertainment company. In that role, he led capital deployment of as much as $600 million a year in organic growth investments and M&A transactions, as well as partnerships, outside financing arrangements, and operational improvements of assets.
Prior to joining Clear Channel, Suffa’s was Vice President, Strategic Development, for Jacor Communications, a publicly-traded media company based in Cincinnati. Suffa was the leader in developing industry-changing strategies as the company expanded eight-fold in four years. He had responsibility for international M&A transactions and played a key role in establishing corporate operating structures and systems, as well as integrating domestic and international acquisitions.
Together with partners, Suffa established, grew, and operated a successful Washington-based consulting firm that provided strategic, managerial, and other professional services to a variety of commercial and public sector clients. He led the firm’s joint-venture acquisition of a California-based professional services company, broadening the client base and expertise offered to clients.
Suffa also has experience working in the New York office of the Federal Communications Commission. His responsibilities included investigatory and enforcement roles.
Suffa is a member of the Association for Corporate Growth, the Turnaround Management Association, the World Affairs Council, IEEE, and a variety of other professional and social organizations.
