Washington D.C. – ExecutiveAction, LLC today announced that R. James Woolsey has been named Chairman of the company’s Senior Advisory Board.

The Senior Advisory Board provides unique perspectives and insights to the management of the company and, on occasion, its clients. Livingstone said that he expects to name up to nine more members of the panel in the coming months.
R. James Woolsey
Woolsey was previously Director of Central Intelligence and currently is Vice President and an officer of Booz Allen Hamilton. For much of his career, Woolsey was a partner with a major law firm, where he specialized in civil litigation and alternative dispute resolution.
Woolsey served as Ambassador to the Negotiation on Conventional Armed Forces in Europe (1989-1991), Under Secretary of the Navy (1977-1979), and General Counsel to the U.S. Senate Committee on Armed Services (1970-1973).
He has been on numerous boards and commissions, including The National Commission on Terrorism, The Commission to Assess the Ballistic Missile Threat to the U.S., The President's Blue Ribbon Commission on Defense Management (Packard Commission), and The President's Commission on Strategic Forces (Scowcroft Commission).
Woolsey received a B.A. degree from Stanford University (with Great Distinction, Phi Beta Kappa), an M.A. from Oxford University (Rhodes Scholar), and an LL.B from Yale Law School (Managing Editor of the Yale Law Journal, 1968).
